Product Care & Cleaning

The city is unpredictable, and acquiring scuff marks, nicks, and dirt along the way is inevitable. That’s why we wanted to provide you with a step-by-step guide on how to care for your genuine leather—so you can keep that fresh-out-of-the-box look for as long as possible. BEFORE STARTING: Determine what type of leather yourUBZs have. (This information is outlined in your product’s description section on UBZSHOES.com.) Then, follow the instructions based on your type of leather your shoes are made with.

Step 1: Use a medium-bristle brush to remove dirt, dust, or any debris (we recommend using one made specifically for cleaning leather.)

Step 2: Wipe shoes down with a damp cloth.

Step 3: Let dry in a cool, dry place.

FOR OILED LEATHER/DRY-TANNED LEATHER:

Step 2: Use a clean cloth dipped in a bit of leather cleaner all over shoes.

Step 3: Wipe shoes down with a damp cloth to remove residue.

Step 4: Let dry in a cool, dry place.

FOR NUBUCK/SUEDE LEATHER:

Step 1: Use a soft brush to remove dirt, dust, or any debris (we recommend using one made specifically for nubuck/ suede leather.)

*Note: leather is a natural product and will have its own unique characteristics, marks, or imperfections. Some leather used in our footwear may have color variations, small markings or scratches. These are natural and part of the character and do not affect the quality or durability of the leather.

SNEAKER CARE GUIDE

Just follow these easy steps to keep your sneaks looking good and feeling great for as long as possible.

Step 1: BRUSH. Use a soft dry brush (like a toothbrush) to remove dirt.

Step 2: DAB. Use a washcloth, dip into soap and water (or another mild detergent) and softly dab stains on shoe.

Step 3: LACES. Remove laces (if any) and massage the mild cleaning solution with them, then dry with cloth.

Step 4: SOLE. Using the soft brush, dip into mild cleaning solution and softly brush the midsole and outsole to remove stains or dirt.

Step 5: AIR DRY. Leave at room temperature to dry fully.

BOOT LINER CARE

Remove the recycled felt liner and place in a cool location to air out. Spritz them lightly with a fabric deodorizer for stubborn smells.

Dampen a clean cloth with warm water. Gently rub any visible spots you see on your recycled boot liners.

Hand-wash recycled liners in a sink or basin filled with cool water using a mild detergent. Squeeze the liners a few times to coax debris from the soles. Press the liners dry in a towel to blot away excess water. Place them on a flat surface to dry. Do not dry them near a heat source or in the open sun.

DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR MACHINE DRY
